Upscaling takes a non-HD video source (such as an old style DVD) and displays it correctly on an HD television. It increased the pixel count in the non-HD video so that it matches your HDTV. While a standard DVD is never going to match the incredible level of detail offered on a Blu-ray disc, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how good DVDs look using upscaling. They appear sharper, clearer and somewhere between a DVD and Blu-ray quality.
Internet TV allows you to access Internet content through your TV. Internet TV isn't directly surfing the Internet, rather accessing small bits of content called apps, or widgets. These are simplified versions of the Internet that include stuff like being able to use Twitter, Facebook, eBay and of course watching clips on YouTube. Internet TV also lets you check news, weather, sports and whats coming on TV. To access Internet TV you'll need to have a wireless router at home.
