The Samsung HT-C7200 is what's called full HD, which is often written as 1080p. This means that it supports the highest level of detail. A full HD resolution spans 1920 x 1080 pixels. The 1080p refers to the number of vertical lines that the product can show. 1080p is also a widescreen resolution. The HT-C7200 has 2 x HDMI inputs. HDMI stands for High-Definition Multimedia Interface and is a standard used for audio / visual equipment. Like the older scart, HDMI is a port that allows you to connect things like Blu-ray players and games consoles to your television. Unlike scart, they're very easy to plug in - and take up a fraction of the space scart leads do. HDMI allows for HD devices to send high resolution information to the television. HDMI is an uncompressed digital signal, as opposed to previous analog interfaces such as S-Video, component video and composite video. In short, HDMI is the best way to connect your AV equipment and is going to be with us a good way into the future. 2.1 channel sound is a stereo sound system used on home theatre systems. It uses two stereo speakers and a subwoofer to play sound. It aims to create surround sound without the need for rear speakers. It's designed to produce a rich movie theatre sound without extra speakers and wires.
Allshare is Samsung's way of sharing content stored stored on your computer with your Blu-ray player, tablet, wifi camera or TV. Movies, photos and music can be streamed over your wireless or ethernet connection and enjoyed on your HDTV. The connection works both ways, allowing a Samsung tablet computer to watch the same or different program showing on your TV.

Internet TV allows you to access Internet content through your TV. Internet TV isn't directly surfing the Internet, rather accessing small bits of content called apps, or widgets. These are simplified versions of the Internet that include stuff like being able to use Twitter, Facebook, eBay and of course watching clips on YouTube. Internet TV also lets you check news, weather, sports and whats coming on TV. To access Internet TV you'll need to have a wireless router at home.
